About The Position
Responsible for performing designated custodial duties normally assigned to the building and any other duties which come up within reason. Operates a Zamboni ice resurfacing machine in a skating rink to prepare surface for skating. Performs other manual tasks related to the efficient operation of the skating rink, i.e., cleaning equipment and rink area, making repairs to bleachers and assisting in crowd control. Ice rink custodian is responsible for performing the designated duties normally assigned to a building custodian, which are within reason; ability to lift, carry and place heavy objects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Working knowledge of the operations of the ice rink
