Ice Rink Attendant
About The Position
This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment). The Ice Rink Attendant performs and/or assists with the operation of recreational ice skating, learn to skate, and hockey tournaments. This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the lobby and office, monitoring ice skaters and coaches, and completing accident reports. The attendant is also responsible for collecting fees from customers and preparing daily paperwork associated with all programs. Reports directly to the Ice Rink Manager and may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Practical knowledge of figure skating and/or hockey, rules and procedures is required.
- Applicant must be able to ice skate.
- Must exercise tact, diplomacy and courtesy when dealing with customers and co-workers.
- Ensures customer needs are addressed in a timely matter.
- Ability to work independently as required.
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and a Local File Check (LFC) are required.
