About The Position

This is a part-time appointment for an Assistant Women's Ice Hockey Coach. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with organizing and directing all aspects of a successful and competitive collegiate program. The role requires a commitment to the personal, athletic, and academic success of student-athletes. Duties may encompass recruiting, travel management, scheduling, player development, and budget management.

Requirements

• Physical ability to perform essential functions of the position, as noted below, with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Previous coaching experience at the secondary and/or college level preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of recruiting prospective qualified student-athletes.
• Assist in the development and supervision of practice and game planning.
• Assist with the organization of team travel.
• Effectively demonstrates technical skills at the collegiate level.
• Assist with fundraising.
• Ensure compliance with all College, NCAA Division III and GNAC policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required by the Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach.
