Ice Crew
About The Position
Works closely with the Operations Manager and Operation Team Leaders to assist with ice rink preparation and maintenance. Including some event set-up and services. Assist with making ice for hockey and other ice related events including: dasher wall and dasher glass installation, building ice and painting/marking hockey lines and resurfacing ice as needed. Responsible for the cleaning, upkeep and minor maintenance of the facility and related support areas. Reports all major maintenance items and safety concerns to management. Assist with the cleaning, minor maintenance and proper storage of all ice event related equipment, including Ice Paint machine, Ice Resurfacing machine, hockey nets, hockey logos and other motorized equipment. Operates motorized equipment in the performance of assigned duties ie: ice resurfaces machine, forklifts and Bobcat. Compiles information and generates time reports for event wrap up information and work studies, tracts productivity, makes recommendations to management for increased productivity. Responsible for delivering the highest level of service to all clients and events. Assists in resolving client’s questions and concerns.
