About The Position
The Penny Ice Creamery is seeking incredible Ice Cream Scoopers to join their teams in Palo Alto and Los Altos. The Penny Ice Creamery makes ice cream completely from scratch, in house, using local and organic ingredients. They offer unique and classic flavors. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be creating a fun and memorable experience for guests by scooping ice cream, making ice cream sundaes and milkshakes and various novelty items, making craft coffee and tea drinks, and toasting marshmallow fluff. The company operates two locations in Santa Clara County: The State Street Market in Los Altos and The Town and Country Village in Palo Alto. The Penny Ice Creamery is part of The Glass Jar, Inc., a farm-to-table restaurant group based in Santa Cruz, CA.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work alone/ unsupervised.
- Must have availability during the week, weekends and holidays on a reliable basis.
- Must be available to work 20 hours a week on a reliable basis.
