As a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor, you will lead the production team on shift, actively coordinating with other departments such as SHE, QA, UMS, Logistics, and Mix across the factory to meet shift targets for Safety, QA, OEE, Volume, and Waste. You will champion Factory Operating System practices applicable to production, uphold the safety and morale of employees, and ensure continuous compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Actively coordinate and prioritize resources (maintenance, logistics) to deliver shift targets on OEE, Waste, Safety & QA
  • Responsible for delivering shift targets (OEE, Volume, OEE, Waste, Safety & QA), and actively participating with the production planning for the week
  • Utilize appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team
  • Responsible for identifying and actioning waste control on shift
  • Ensure data capture and transfer top loss data to next shift
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques
  • In coordination with QC personal ensuring the execution of the quality and food safety programs in production (HACCP- CCP-OPRP, prevention of cross contamination, allergen, dry floor, vision system, etc.)
  • Liaison between other functions to ensure seamless production output
  • Act as incident commander on shift
  • Coordinate SHE/Q/Breakdowns incident on shift (initiate EWOs)
  • Ensure completion of CILR, Tag on shift
  • Coordinate SHE/Q Risk Management (on shift)
  • Adjust production plan daily/hourly to mitigate risks and changes
  • Disciplinary action, employee coaching
  • Dealing with people issues
  • Conduct new employee reviews at specified intervals
  • Lead Daily FOS meetings
  • Initiate SNCR- E-incidents- food safety/quality arises, work with quality and collect data and take up with supplier/setup, etc.
  • Work on projects that would support individual growth in line with 3+1
  • Lead/participate in OEE/waste reduction initiatives
