About The Position

Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. This is a Part Time Ice Cream Host position with weekly pay. The pay rate is $17.25/hr. - $17.50/hr. depending on qualifications and experience. Flexible availability is required, and weekends are a must.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with customers at the service bars.
• Provide assistance by answering product questions, offering recommendations, and pricing products ordered by customers at the counter.
• Select, package, and price products ordered by customers at the service bar.
• Clean equipment.
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Assist in other duties, as assigned.
