About The Position

The City of Jefferson is now accepting applications for Ice Arena Assistant Managers for our Parks and Recreation Department at the Washington Park Ice Arena. This role involves employee supervision and motivation, maintaining facility cleanliness and safety, ensuring quality ice conditions, public relations, supervision of participants and enforcement of rules and regulations, and attending to all daily tasks necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the Ice Arena as assigned. Responsibilities also include accurate record keeping, handling large sums of money, and reading and recording compressor data. A manager or assistant manager will be on duty at all times.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Requires CPR and first aid certification

Nice To Haves

• 20 years of age preferred
• Experience in employee supervision is preferred
