About The Position

The IBM DataStage ETL Developer will work in a hybrid setup in Hartford, Connecticut. The candidate must live within commuting distance of Hartford. This is a six-month contract role.

The role involves designing and implementing DataStage jobs, performance tuning, data integration, deployment, and troubleshooting across large-scale enterprise applications. The developer will also participate in project review meetings with the client and work in a global delivery environment. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are expected.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Information Technology experience.
• 4 years of hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Expertise in designing and implementing DataStage jobs, performance tuning, data integration, deployment, and troubleshooting across large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience with GCP BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Composer (Airflow).
• Analytical skills to identify root causes and develop solution alternatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum stated experience: 8–10 years.
• Must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, Connecticut.
