About The Position

TriTech Enterprise Systems (TriTech) is seeking an ETL Developer for a State of Louisiana client. The role designs, builds, and manages data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data into storage systems, ensuring data quality, consistency, and usability for analytics and business intelligence.

The ETL Developer manages data flows from multiple sources to centralized storage systems. This includes gathering raw data from sources such as databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms; cleaning, validating, and reshaping data to meet business requirements; and loading transformed data into a data warehouse, data lake, or database for reporting, analytics, or operational use.

The role also involves designing ETL workflows, optimizing performance, managing failures, and documenting processes to maintain reliable and efficient data pipelines. The candidate must live within 30 minutes of the City of New Orleans. This position is for a proposal effort expected to be awarded by the end of November 2026. Resumes are due to TriTech by noon on 11/13/2026.

Requirements

• Must live within 30 minutes of the City of New Orleans.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
• Familiarity with ETL platforms such as Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator, or Airbyte.
• Understanding of data structures, data warehousing concepts, and business intelligence requirements.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Ability to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation and cleansing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Gather raw data from databases, APIs, flat files, cloud platforms, and other sources.
• Clean, validate, reshape, format, aggregate, or enrich data to meet business requirements and ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Load transformed data into target systems such as data warehouses, data lakes, or databases.
• Design ETL workflows and manage data pipelines from multiple sources to centralized storage systems.
• Optimize ETL performance and manage pipeline failures.
• Document processes to maintain reliable and efficient data pipelines.
• Support analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making by making data clean, structured, and accessible.
