The IAQ Project Supervisor performs and ensures high-quality mold mitigation and HVAC cleaning, ductwork cleaning, disinfecting, restoration, and sanitizing, meeting corporate QA/QC guidelines. This role adheres to project budgets and contractual schedules, enforcing industry-standard protocols. The supervisor manages on-site BRS Remediation Crew, is responsible for Field Time Sheet Management, daily progress reporting, photo documentation, and other required documentation. They perform on-site and ongoing inspections of project work, conduct on-site safety meetings, and provide training to new crew personnel on safety and procedures. Oversight of equipment cleaning, maintenance, and repair, as well as trailer/truck inventory and material usage reporting, are key responsibilities. The role involves performing HVAC Remediation, Duct Cleaning, Microbial Mitigation, HVAC Restoration services, decontamination, and installation of air purification systems. All contractual services for local and non-local clients are performed utilizing company-provided vehicles. The position interfaces with and supports Building Sciences workers. This role is responsible for managing, performing, and assisting in all facets of HVAC remediation, duct cleaning, and microbial mitigation, including all Project personnel and their on-site training. Field inspection of projects and recommendations/reports to the Project Manager, job estimation, and assistance with change orders are also part of the duties. This position has contact with all levels of PACS and BRS management and demonstrates superior core competencies in IAQ duct cleaning, HVAC cleaning, and mold remediation. The position is dependent on the PACS Project Manager regarding day-to-day operations. NADCA certification is required, and must be obtained within 90-120 days of employment. Additional certifications like IICRC, ACAC – CMRS, CMR or CRMR, and State Mold Remediator/Assessor will be required during ongoing employment. The supervisor must be capable of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems, manage inventory control and usage, and understand blueprints and HVAC symbols. Interaction with client contacts (facilities personnel, tenants) is expected. Adherence to the PACS Employee Handbook, Customer Service Guide, OSHA Policy, and any Health and Safety Manuals/Training is mandatory. This position works in the BRS Department where contaminants exist, requiring applicable OSHA and other regulatory safety equipment to be worn according to company policy. Travel may be as high as 100%, covering national and international destinations, with overnight absences typically required four nights per week.
