About The Position

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. This role supports the Capabilities Assessment Branch and is responsible for performing system engineering in the IAMD domain in coordination with architecture analysis efforts. The position involves modeling and simulation of operational concepts and associated data analysis, as well as oversight and development of integrated simulation tools for wargaming to support IAMD analysis within Nimble Fire and JRICM applications. Responsibilities also include the identification of IAMD objectives, methodologies, MOEs and MOPs, and algorithm development using tools such as EADSIM and WILMA.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least eight (8) years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ.
  • Active TS, SCI and SAP eligible security clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities
