About The Position

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. This role supports the Capabilities Development Branch and is responsible for understanding and interpreting advanced technical capabilities, requirements, systems, and concepts related to IAMD. The position requires providing subject matter expertise for efforts in various critical areas.

Requirements

• A Master's degree.
• At least ten (10) years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area.
• A minimum of five (5) years of which include supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ.
• Active TS, SCI and SAP eligible security clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Capabilities Development Branch.
• Understand and interpret advanced technical capabilities, requirements, systems, and concepts related to IAMD.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in International JROC, including the Multinational IAMD Community of Practice.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Non-kinetic missile defeat.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Air and Cruise Missile Defense of the Homelands (ACMDH).
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in IAMD operational architecture.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Defense against hypersonics.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Space-based effects.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Cruise missile combat identification.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Electronic warfare.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Passive sensing and detection.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Advanced tactical data links.
• Provide subject matter expertise for areas supporting efforts in Joint integrated fire control.
