About The Position

As a Senior IAMD Capability Analyst supporting Nimble Fire and the Joint Regional IAMD Capability Mix (JRICM) study, you will understand, interpret, coordinate, and execute integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) capabilities for the Department of the Army and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization’s (JIAMDO’s) Nimble Fire Modeling and Simulation events. You will assess existing and emerging IAMD capabilities and provide subject matter expertise on IAMD systems, concepts, and issues. You will also serve as a liaison with the U.S. Army and MDA, coordinating planning to ensure current and future capabilities are accurately represented at Nimble Fire and in the JRICM study. In support of the Capabilities Assessment Branch, you will address Service, Agency, and Combatant Command requirements related to specific capabilities for Joint IAMD studies and analysis.

Requirements

Master’s degree.
At least 10 years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area.
At least 5 years of experience supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service Headquarters, or Combatant Command Headquarters.
Active TS clearance; eligible for SCI and SAP.
U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Assess existing and emerging IAMD capabilities.
Provide subject matter expertise on IAMD systems, concepts, and issues, including fighter aircraft, surface-to-air missile systems, non-kinetic weapons, radar systems, kill chain analysis, operational planning, and command-and-control relationships.
Serve as a liaison with the U.S. Army and Missile Defense Agency, conducting planning and coordination to ensure accurate portrayal of current and future capabilities at Nimble Fire and the JRICM study.
Support the Capabilities Assessment Branch by understanding, interpreting, coordinating, and executing Service, Agency, and Combatant Command requirements related to specific capabilities for Joint IAMD studies and analysis.
