About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. AF/A10 Strategic Plans and Policy Support Services conducts indefinite guidance, oversight, and advocacy of the Air Force strategic deterrence mission, in order to ensure Airmen have the necessary capabilities to protect the United States. In support of seeks an analyst to assess how treaty requirements affect basing, alert postures, exercises, and day‑to‑day operations. The IAMD Technical Analyst reviews and analyzes IAMD‑related policies, concepts, studies, and meeting outputs to identify implications for AF/A10 equities. The analyst will be responsible to prepare point papers, white papers, decision memos, and briefings that explain IAMD options, risks, and tradeoffs for senior leaders. The analyst will also be responsible for the coordination with AF/A3, MAJCOMs, Joint organizations, and external stakeholders, supporting AF participation in IAMD meetings, exercises, and wargames. Additionally, the analyst will help track and manage IAMD staff packages, ensuring AF/A10 inputs are timely, consistent, and well supported.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, international security, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in IAMD, missile defense, air defense, or related operational/analytic work in a headquarters, MAJCOM, or joint environment
  • Strong analytic and writing skills, with experience producing decision‑support products on complex technical or operational topics
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or analyzing IAMD, defensive counter‑air, or counter‑UAS missions
  • Familiarity with PPBE and requirements processes as they apply to IAMD capabilities
