About The Position

Responsible for supporting a highly complex, unstructured and broad capability that must be accomplished with ownership and influence. This requires methodical and consistent problem solving, proactiveness and innovation transform the IAM function for the entire bank. This includes supporting a subset of the following sub-functions: a) strategic planning and implementation b) organizational design and role development c) organizational change management d) human capital management and forecasting e) cross-Truist stakeholder engagement f) process re-engineering g) service management maturity h) data-driven risk remediation i) capability maturity j) continuous improvement k) operations and l) analysis. Support the design and implementation of the IAM transformation strategy on time and within budget: Primary focus on the Identify, Protect and Recover NIST functions Secondary focus on the Detect and Respond NIST functions Interdependencies across IAM, other parts of CCS, ET&O and the LOBs Holistic and innovative view of people, process, and technology components Optimizes us of Truist resources, as well as existing, evolving and new 3rd party relationships Defines short, medium and long-terms roadmaps and funding requirements Identifies ‘if-then’ scenarios across to remain proactive or respond fast vs simply react Enables the cross-CCS needs of Architecture, Cyber Assurance, Cyber Defense, GRC and D-CISOs Stakeholder engagement plans for IAM, CCS, ET&O, Risk Partners, Reg Relations and LOBs Accounts for the business needs, which includes, but is not limited to, Consumer, Wholesale, Insurance, Corporate Functions, Enterprise Data and Operations Engagement with Corporate Communications and Human Resources to enable teammate and contract worker adoption and adherence to the core elements needed to protect Truist Assist in executing and tracking initiatives with stakeholders to improve capability maturity Organizational design and role development Organizational change management Human capital management and forecasting Process re-engineering and automation Service management maturity Data-driven risk remediation NIST function and sub-category maturity Continuous improvement Operations and administration optimization Analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5 years’ technical experience working in the transformation function
  • 5 yeas’ experience in strategic planning, operational planning, and execution
  • 10 years managing simple and structured work
  • 5 years managing complex and unstructured work
  • 5 years’ experience leading diverse teams, such as teammates, contract workers, onshore, offshore resources, and/or managed services
  • 5 years’ experience and intermediate-level technical knowledge of product knowledge and processes for specific IAM areas (e.g., Active directory, RACF, Idaptive, CyberArk, PRIVA, Oracle OIM, Persistent Ignite)
  • 5 years’ experience and basic functional knowledge of tools and processes for the broader IAM capability
  • 5 years’ experience and intermediate-level strength in soft skills and interpersonal communications
  • 10 years’ technical experience working for a top 10 US bank
  • 5 years’ experience collaborating with the following functions: a) infrastructure b) application development c) application support d) business unit risk management e) technology risk f) audit and g) external auditors
  • 5 years’ experience collaborating with the following peer functions in corporate cyber security
  • 3 years’ experience managing the remediation of regulatory matters and internal findings
  • 3 years’ experience in strategic planning and applying industry best practices to operations (NIST, FFIEC)

Nice To Haves

  • Understand multiple approaches to designing IAM technical solutions
  • Experience in waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Experience managing contracts for IAM managed service providers
  • CISSP Certification
  • Experience with user/group access administration and customer support for three or more information security technologies: Active Directory UNIX Linux AIX Centrify Windows Exchange Mobile Iron as well as enterprise applications on and off prem, Cloud.
  • Ability to run and write/update with scripting applications like PowerShell and SQL Queries.
  • Oracle Identity Manager/MFT processing
