About The Position

We are looking for a Security Analyst to join a growing healthcare technology organization and play a key role in supporting cybersecurity operations, compliance initiatives, and infrastructure security across the business. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who combines strong security fundamentals with practical infrastructure knowledge and enjoys working across vulnerability management, monitoring, patching, security operations, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure environments
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Experience working with endpoint protection and security tools such as Microsoft Defender
  • Understanding of identity and access management concepts, including tools such as JumpCloud and SSO environments
  • Experience monitoring vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and supporting remediation efforts across infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with patch management, security monitoring, and maintaining secure system configurations
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices across different operating systems and infrastructure environments
  • Experience supporting or working with technologies such as MySQL within production environments
  • Ability to proactively identify risks, investigate vulnerabilities, and recommend practical mitigation strategies
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Azure-based infrastructure, including identity, access management, and cloud security best practices
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance initiatives, security controls, and audit readiness within regulated or compliance-driven environments (SOC 2 Type II exposure considered a strong asset)
  • Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, access controls, and security configurations
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain security infrastructure, endpoint protection, alerts, and access controls
  • Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and support remediation efforts across the environment
  • Monitor security logs, investigate alerts, and support ongoing security operations
  • Ensure systems, patches, updates, and security controls remain current and properly maintained
  • Support cybersecurity policies, operational procedures, and compliance initiatives
  • Assist with SOC 2 Type II readiness, monitoring, and security governance activities
  • Support Windows and Linux environments from a security and infrastructure perspective
  • Collaborate closely with Infrastructure and Compliance teams to strengthen security posture and operational maturity
  • Investigate emerging vulnerabilities and proactively improve internal security practices
