Requirements

  • Strong customer-service mindset and clear communication with employees at all levels.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while keeping accurate documentation and asset records.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to provide occasional remote support to other company locations.
  • Completed education in Information Technology or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, endpoint support, and standard IT service management practices.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and documenting technical issues and resolutions.
  • Prior experience in technical support, help desk, or IT operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in IT preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A+.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for end users, including troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and software applications.
  • Deliver endpoint support, including setup, configuration, updates, and maintenance.
  • Register new assets and maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle processes: deployment, replacement, and decommissioning.
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting and technical support at the Idaho Falls location.
  • Assist with local IT projects such as workstation upgrades, hardware rollouts, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate with the global Digital & IT team and with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) on escalated issues and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide remote technical support for the Caldwell/WA group as needed.
  • Document support activities, solutions, procedures, and asset changes in the ticketing system.
  • Maintain a courteous, customer-focused mindset when supporting employees.
  • Follow all shop safety practices.
