About The Position

The I.T. Installation Technician is a full-time non-exempt position responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and replacing of IP-based equipment, cabling, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and Company requirements. This position is based out of the Fresno area, CA.

• Ability to interact effectively with internal customers, vendor partners and external constituents as needed.
• Specialized degree, certifications, or equivalent proven work experience
• Two or more years of relevant experience in a technical field
• A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required
• Regular travel by vehicle will be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, monitor, and maintain in-store systems including Phone system, Alarms, Audio/Video (surveillance), Company Point of Sale (POS) computers, Company biometric timeclocks, and Network Wiring.
• Provide in-person and online support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot system related issues and outages.
• Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication.
• Performs other related specialized duties as assigned.
