About The Position

The Talent Assessment Graduate Intern will support the design, validation, and implementation of employee selection and assessment processes. This role provides hands-on experience applying industrial-organizational psychology principles to talent acquisition, psychometric evaluation, and workforce analytics. The intern will collaborate with HR, talent management, and organizational development teams to enhance evidence-based hiring and assessment practices.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Foundational knowledge of psychometrics, statistics, and research methodology.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in personnel selection, test development, or validation methods.
  • Experience with survey platforms or assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with EEOC compliance and fair hiring practices.
  • Ability to translate data insights into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and validating pre-employment assessments (cognitive, behavioral, and personality measures).
  • Support job analysis activities, including competency modeling and role profiling.
  • Analyze assessment data to evaluate reliability, validity, and adverse impact.
  • Help interpret assessment results and prepare reports or dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Participate in research projects related to employee selection, performance prediction, or candidate experience.
  • Contribute to documentation, technical reports, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in handling assessment and candidate data.
