About The Position

The I&E Specialist will install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, and fixtures. They will work on underground cable and conduit installation, terminating, and equipment installation.

Requirements

5+ years’ relevant experience in Industrial I&E.
State Electrical License
Completed NCCER Program or Equal Field Performance and/or written
Must have all the required tools.
Willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
Valid Driver's License.
Pass drug and background check.
Proficiently read blueprints and schematics.
Demonstrate former knowledge and experience working on high voltage systems.
Know basic electrical theory (e.g., ohms law).
Proficient in cable pulling methods.
Able to use specialized electrical tools (ohm meters, multi-meters, terminating devices).
Mechanical and electrical knowledge of components relative to a Combined Cycle Power Plant.
Able to illustrate knowledge and experience of working with a lock out tag out system.
High level of intellectual ability.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, and fixtures.
Work on underground cable and conduit installation.
Perform terminating and equipment installation.
Read blueprints and schematics proficiently.
Install and modify cable tray using hand tools and power tools.
Bend and cut conduit using hand saws, hand tube bending equipment, and power and hydraulic cutting and tube bending devices.
Perform cable pulling methods to run cable through specified pathways.
Use specialized electrical tools such as ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devices.
Terminate both High and low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
Troubleshoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctions.
Identify several types, gauges, and colors of cables and wires.
Perform administrative processes reliably, accountably, and consistently.
Work with a lock out tag out system.
Share expertise with others.
Make decisions and explain the reasoning behind them.
Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
Adapt approach or method to best fit the situation and communicate changes effectively.
