As an Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following in accordance with relevant codes. Accountabilities: Troubleshooting DCS (Digital Control System) control interfaces; level, flow, and pressure measurement equipment; vibration measurement instrumentation; low, medium, and high voltage equipment; and power generation and distribution equipment. Read and understand piping/instrument and electrical drawings of instrumentation, control, power, and metering circuitry. Remove, repair, maintain, and test emergency shutdown valves and control valves. Understanding of proper application of pressure-rated piping/tubing fittings associated with various equipment (manual sample stations, control valves, instrumentation, etc.). Diagnose and apply results using various test equipment. Apply Electrical Safety Rules in accordance with site and OSHA standards. Record work history and submit feedback for continuous improvement of maintenance plans, policies, and procedures. Troubleshoot and repair instrument or electrical systems. Perform routine installation and calibration of instrument or electrical systems. Ability to perform reactive or preventative maintenance of instrument or electrical systems and components.
