About The Position

This role is responsible for creating and modifying engineering drawings using AutoCAD or similar software, typically within a single discipline and under the supervision of a designer. The position involves revising or originating drawings, correcting and updating checked drawings, and performing basic drafting file functions. The drafter will also be responsible for running documents, assembling design packages, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) with at least three (3) years of experience, or Vo-Tech or other technical training in related fields; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Intermediate AutoCAD and computer database understanding and proficiency.
• Job package assembly proficiency.
• Valid Driver’s License as per State law or requirement.

Responsibilities

• Creating and modifying drawings using AutoCAD under the supervision of a designer.
• Correcting and updating checked drawings.
• Performing basic drafting file functions such as file maintenance, break up, review control, and storage.
• Running documents and assembling design packages.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
