The Therapist is responsible for providing center-based in-person therapy services to adult individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). These therapy services may include: individual, group, or family therapy; mental health assessment; treatment planning and monitoring; resource and referral; support, linkage, and advocacy; case collaboration with other providers at Pioneer Center or other community organizations. As a part of the Outpatient Services department of the Behavioral Health pillar, the Therapist will adhere to the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Pioneer Center and philosophy of the Behavioral Health pillar. This philosophy emphasizes Trauma-Informed Care, Evidence-Based Practices, Strength-Focused Treatment, and Client-Centered Services. To achieve these standards, the Therapist and all members of the Behavioral Health pillar must attend ongoing internal and external trainings and contribute to a culture of collaborative learning.
