Residential Group Home Supervisor - I/DD
About The Position
The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) is seeking a full-time Residential Supervisor for a group home serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Mt Holly Springs, PA. This role involves supervising direct care staff and providing direct care to individuals with disabilities. The supervisor ensures the health and safety of residents, manages staff through supervision, evaluation, and training, participates in on-call duties, completes necessary paperwork, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains professional relationships with families, peers, subordinates, team members, and other professionals. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Possess an Associate's degree in a human services related field or have two years of experience in a residential setting.
- Experience supervising direct care workers who support individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and direction to direct care staff in a residential setting.
- Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Ensure the health and safety of individuals living at the assigned site.
- Supervise, evaluate, and train staff.
- Share in on-call responsibility.
- Complete weekly, monthly, and annual paperwork.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain professional working relationships with individuals' families, peers, subordinates, team members, and other professionals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
