About The Position

This role is for an Instrumentation & Electrical Specialist at Moorefield Fresh. The specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems throughout the plant, assisting in the maintenance of electrical equipment through PM procedures, and helping to institute new control systems. The position also involves researching and developing better controls and electrical processes, tracking and monitoring recurring problems to provide solutions, and identifying and resolving weaknesses in electrical systems. Additionally, the specialist will need to understand the technical functionality of electrical equipment and train operators and maintenance technicians. The role also includes assisting maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient production operations and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Industrial electrical experience
Extensive schematic reading capability
PLC coding/troubleshooting
Allen Bradley certifications
Square D certifications
Technical college certifications
Manufacturing certifications
3-5 years of documented experience

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant
Help maintain electrical equipment through PM procedures
Assist in instituting new control systems
Research and develop better controls and electrical processes
Track and monitor recurring problems and provide solutions to correct these problems
Identify weaknesses in the equipment related to electrical systems and develop solutions
Understand the technical functionality of electrical equipment and be able to train operators and maintenance technicians on the operations and troubleshooting of equipment
Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation
Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor
