Requirements

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Training in one of the following medical professions: Required: Respiratory Therapy or Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) or Emergency Medical Technology.
2 years of healthcare experience Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification through AHA Upon Hire Required
Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Upon Hire Required: CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse or EMT - Emergency Medical Tech or CHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology or CST - Certified Surgical Technologist or Other CHT qualifying certification Required
Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days Required

Nice To Haves

Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider.
All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider.
Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
