Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Training in one of the following medical professions required: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology,
- Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare required.
- BLS Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
- Current Georgia license or certification required in one of the following areas: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Emergency Medical Technician Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Other CHT qualifying certification
Responsibilities
- Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider.
- All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider.
- Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
