About The Position
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services. JOB PURPOSE: Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Training in one of the following medical professions required: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology.
- Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare required.
- BLS Certification required.
- Current Georgia license or certification required in one of the following areas: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Other CHT qualifying certification
Nice To Haves
- Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
