Hygiene Dental Assistant
About The Position
Absolute Dental is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated Hygiene Dental Assistant to float between our Centennial and Simmons locations! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working with a team, and wants to grow their career in the dental field. If you are motivated, dependable, and ready to learn, we would love to meet you! As a Float Hygiene Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our hygienists and dental teams at both the Centennial and Simmons offices. You will help keep the hygiene schedules running efficiently while supporting excellent patient care, smooth patient transitions, and the overall flow of both offices. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between the two locations based on scheduling and coverage needs.
Requirements
- Dependable and comfortable working at both locations
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy dental environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Professional, friendly, and caring approach toward patients
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- Reliable transportation between locations
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
Responsibilities
- Preparing treatment rooms for hygiene appointments
- Assisting with patient care and comfort
- Sterilizing instruments and following infection-control standards
- Supporting charting and documentation as needed
- Assisting with scheduling flow and patient transitions
- Turning over rooms between patients
- Supporting hygienists and other team members throughout the day
- Maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming clinical areas
- Floating between the Centennial and Simmons offices as needed
