About The Position

The Hygiene Assistant supports the dental hygienist and helps provide excellent, patient-first dental care. The role includes preparing the treatment room, seating patients, documenting visits, reviewing patient health histories, making chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and ensuring required forms and signatures are completed. The assistant also educates patients about treatment plans and maintaining oral health, while building positive relationships with patients and team members and communicating professionally.

Requirements

• Dental assisting certification, state-required education, or prior on-the-job training.
• Radiography/X-ray certification for the respective state.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills.

• One or more years of experience preferred.
