About The Position

The Hygiene Assistant supports the dental hygienist and helps deliver patient-focused dental care. The role includes preparing treatment rooms, seating patients, documenting visits, reviewing health histories, making chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and ensuring required forms and signatures are completed. The assistant also educates patients about treatment plans and maintaining oral health, while building positive relationships and communicating professionally with patients and the team.

Requirements

• Dental assisting certification, state-required education, or prior on-the-job training.
• Radiography/X-ray certification for the respective state.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• One or more years of experience preferred.
