As a Hygiene Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping our hygiene team create exceptional patient experiences from start to finish.

Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certification (where required)
• X-ray Certification
• Current OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and Infection Control training
• Experience with dental software systems
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Nitrous Oxide Certification preferred
• Assisted hygiene experience preferred (1–2 years minimum)

Responsibilities

• Assisting the hygienist during hygiene procedures and patient care
• Preparing patients for exams and treatments
• Taking high-quality digital X-rays
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and operatories
• Setting up trays and preparing materials for procedures
• Supporting patient education and comfort throughout visits
• Performing various lab duties and assisting with provisionals as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and protecting patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Following OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols at all times
