About The Position

West 10th Dental is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hygiene Assistant to support patient care in a respectful, friendly, and team-oriented dental practice. The assistant prepares and sterilizes treatment rooms, supports the hygienist and patients during appointments, helps coordinate follow-up care, provides oral hygiene education, and performs dental lab duties. The practice highlights opportunities for growth, modern technology and techniques, and flexible scheduling. Benefits are available after 60 days of employment.

Requirements

Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Obtain radiology and CPR certification within the required timeframe.
Pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Set up rooms for hygiene procedures, sterilize each room after patients, and restock supplies after appointments.
Seat patients, take vitals, and obtain consents.
Assist the hygienist with patient charting.
Schedule patients’ next appointments and assist with schedule coordination.
Review medical and dental histories.
Assist with patient education and oral hygiene instruction.
Perform lab duties, including pouring models and fabricating whitening trays.
