About The Position
J Street Dental Group is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Hygiene Assistant / Sterilization Technician to join their team. This role operates in a fast-paced, bustling 12-op office supporting 4 to 5 hygienists at a time. The ideal candidate will seamlessly balance clinical hygiene assistance with strict sterilization protocols to ensure smooth, efficient patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Active X-Ray License (non-negotiable)
- 8-hour Infection Control Certification
- Coronal Polish Certification
Nice To Haves
- Sealants Certification
- Ability to thrive and maintain a positive attitude in a busy, fast-paced team environment
Responsibilities
- Assist hygienists with accelerated or assisted hygiene workflows
- Perform coronal polishing
- Apply sealants
- Maintain rigorous infection control standards
- Efficiently clean, sterilize, and set up hygiene operatories
- Complete accurate hygiene notes
- Capture required digital X-rays
- Document dental exams alongside the doctor
