About The Position

Dream Dental is seeking a full-time Sterilization Technician to join their growing team in Goodlettsville, TN. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented dental professional who takes pride in maintaining an efficient practice. Dental Assistant experience is preferred, as the technician may be asked to support the clinical team. The ideal candidate is dependable, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about patient care and infection control. The position involves a rotating schedule of 32 hours per week, including weekdays and occasional Saturdays, with availability for all scheduled days being required. The role focuses on cleaning, sterilizing, and organizing dental instruments, maintaining logs, managing inventory, and supporting the clinical environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of dental experience required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession
Valid X-ray certificate
Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements)
CPR & first aid certificate
Strong understanding of sterilization and infection control procedures
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
Reliable, punctual, and professional

Nice To Haves

Dental Assistant background strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Clean, sterilize, and organize all dental instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
Maintain sterilization logs and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Set up and break down operatories
Monitor inventory and restock clinical supplies
Assist with equipment maintenance and organization
Support the clinical team as needed
Help maintain a clean, efficient, and organized clinical environment
