About The Position

This role involves the installation, setup, troubleshooting, and balancing of various heating systems including geothermal, hydronic, radiant heating, hot water heaters, gas piping, snow melt, geo systems, and chiller systems. The specialist will work with different materials, use specialized tools, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with building codes. The position also requires project updates, team support, and performing other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
Knowledge of normal safety practices pertaining to the trade.
Exceptional customer service skills
Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, flexible and team player
Good communication skills; written and verbal
Positive attitude with good organizational skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Minimum 10 years of experience
Valid driver's license.
OSHA 10 or 30
S or D license CT trade license
Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Install geothermal, hydronic, radiant heating systems, hot water heaters, gas piping, snow melt, geo systems, and chiller systems.
Set up boilers, hot water heaters, and gas piping, chillers and geo systems.
Troubleshoot and wiring.
Work with copper, PEX, black iron, and victaulic.
Use tools like soldering, ProPress, fusion welding, and victaulic grooving.
Read blueprints and create materials lists.
Balance water systems and check for issues.
Ensure work meets building codes.
Help with project updates and work orders.
Support the project team and report any issues.
Perform other related tasks as needed.
