The Hydrologic Technician supports the Department of Water Resources by conducting field investigations, groundwater and surface water monitoring, environmental sampling, and technical data collection to support water resource management programs. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate field documentation, performing data entry and quality control, assisting with groundwater well inventories, mapping, and environmental studies, and supporting the operation and maintenance of monitoring equipment, drones, vehicles, and facilities. This role requires frequent fieldwork, collaboration with agency staff and partner organizations, adherence to established safety protocols and quality assurance procedures, and the preparation of routine technical and activity reports to support departmental objectives.
