Requirements

  • University degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in physical hydrogeology.
  • Strong field based experience in groundwater supply, hydrogeological investigations, and assessments.
  • Proven success developing client relationships and contributing to winning proposals.
  • Hands on experience working with MECP, municipalities, and Conservation Authorities.
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects from planning through delivery.
  • Strong business acumen and a practical, solution focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing junior staff.
  • Comfortable operating in a high demand, fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree is an asset.
  • Professional designation in Ontario (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) is an asset.
  • Experience with GIS/CAD programs and groundwater modelling is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and project support across a broad range of assignments.
  • Partnering with clients to understand needs and deliver practical, value driven solutions.
  • Leading and shaping scopes of work for public and private clients on small to large scale infrastructure projects.
  • Managing and Executing hydrogeological studies, including: Groundwater resource development, Groundwater Characterization Studies (including chemistry analysis and interpretations), Studies to support septic applications (including LSSDS), Construction dewatering programs, Pump test design, analysis, and interpretation, Municipal Sewer discharge studies, reports and permits, MECP Permits (dewatering, ECAs).
  • Project management and coordination of site investigation and compliance programs.
  • Coordinating and supervising field programs.
  • Reviewing and guiding the technical work of junior and intermediate staff.
  • Preparing and reviewing high quality technical reports.
  • Supporting proposal development and contributing to business growth.
