About The Position

Franklin International is seeking a Maintenance HydroBlast Operator for their 3rd shift. This role involves operating high-pressure water blasting and vacuuming equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment in various conditions, including confined spaces. The operator will also perform maintenance on the equipment and must be able to work in extreme environments and meet physical demands. The schedule is 4-10 hour shifts, Sunday night through Thursday morning, from 9pm to 7:15am. The company is a leading manufacturer of adhesives and sealants with a global presence.

Requirements

Possess the physicality to climb, lift (over 50 lbs.), stoop, bend, reach and crawl.
2 + years in industrial cleaning.
Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in maintenance.
A high school degree or an approved GED.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb flights of stairs, work from elevated areas.
Ability to wear an air-fed helmet and/or soft hood air-fed respirator (SCBA) and a negative-pressure full-face respirator when required by the job.
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate hand tools and industrial machinery such as a truck or fork-lift.
Frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

2 years in industrial cleaning desired but not required.
The ability to operate a vacuum loader is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate skid loaders, scissors lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
Perform high pressure water blasting and vacuuming within open spaces and/or permit confined spaces.
Perform maintenance on the equipment.
Work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, dirty, wet conditions; as well as confined and elevated workspaces).
Operate extremely high-pressured water blast equipment (10K, 20k) and vacuum truck to clean heavy industrial equipment (pipe, boilers, tanks, heat exchangers, bundles, etc.).
