About The Position
The client is a commercial hydraulic hose and hydraulic service and repair shop serving customers in the heavy equipment, construction, trucking, industrial, and machinery industries. We are looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Hydraulic Hose Technician / Counter Sales professional to join our team in Pomona, CA.
Requirements
- Hydraulic hose experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic hose assembly and repair
- Experience with hydraulic hose crimping equipment
- Experience with hydraulic fittings and adapters
- Experience with JIC, NPT, ORFS, SAE, and other common hydraulic connections
- Experience reading measurements and identifying hose and fitting sizes
- Experience working directly with commercial customers
- Candidates with related mechanical experience may also be considered, including: Heavy equipment, Industrial equipment, Diesel repair, Agricultural equipment, Mechanical parts/service work
- Dependable and ready to work
- Strong mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves
- Experience with the following is highly desirable: Hydraulic hose assembly and repair, Hydraulic hose crimping equipment, Hydraulic fittings and adapters, JIC, NPT, ORFS, SAE, and other common hydraulic connections, Heavy equipment or construction equipment, Industrial parts or counter sales, Reading measurements and identifying hose and fitting sizes, Working directly with commercial customers
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and replace hydraulic hose assemblies
- Measure, cut, clean, and crimp hydraulic hoses
- Identify and work with hydraulic hoses, fittings, adapters, and connections
- Identify the correct parts and assist customers at the counter
- Work with hydraulic components used on construction and heavy equipment
- Receive, organize, and maintain inventory
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and work accurately in a fast-paced shop environment
