About The Position

The client is growing and looking for an experienced Hydraulic Hose Technician / Counter Sales professional to join our team in Pomona, CA. We are a commercial hydraulic hose and hydraulic service and repair shop serving customers across the heavy equipment, construction, trucking, industrial, and machinery industries.

Requirements

• Hydraulic hose experience is strongly preferred, especially experience with: Hydraulic hose assembly and repair
• Hydraulic hose crimping equipment
• Hydraulic fittings and adapters
• JIC, NPT, ORFS, SAE, and other common hydraulic connections
• Heavy equipment or construction equipment
• Industrial parts or counter sales
• Reading measurements and identifying hose and fitting sizes
• Working directly with commercial customers
• Relevant mechanical or parts/service experience in: Heavy equipment
• Industrial equipment
• Diesel repair
• Agricultural equipment
• Construction equipment
• Related mechanical or parts/service environments
• Dependability and a strong work ethic
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Build and repair hydraulic hose assemblies
• Measure, cut, clean, and crimp hydraulic hoses
• Identify hydraulic hoses, fittings, adapters, and connections
• Assist customers at the counter and help identify the correct parts
• Work with hydraulic components used on construction and heavy equipment
• Receive, organize, and maintain inventory
• Keep the shop and work area clean and organized
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
• Work safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment
