Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, such as frac units, nitrogen units and blenders, etc. This role involves testing mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications. The technician will repair and replace damaged or worn parts, inspect machinery at start-up for correct pressures, fan speeds, and to ensure it is free of leaks. Responsibilities include minor diagnostics of oilfield equipment, dismantling and reassembling hydraulic equipment using hoists and hand tools, and performing routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating equipment and vehicles. A visual examination of all hydraulic systems on equipment is required, as well as the ability to read and understand operating manuals on oilfield equipment. Other related duties as required will also be part of the role.
