About The Position

As a Hydraulic Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing the assembly of trucks and cargo vans. The assembly must be completed according to the goals set by the Branch Manager. You will do this by: Assembling advanced equipment and products under close supervision and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Reading, interpreting and following advanced blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. Meeting production schedule deadlines as designated by the Production Manager. Performing quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Identifying product defects and documenting them. Performing all necessary documentation in a timely manner. Conferring with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems. Reworking and/or repairing assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. Performing all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • Ability to assemble and install equipment and products under close supervision and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow advanced blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble/install equipment and products.
  • Ability to perform hydraulic, PTO, and auto-electrical installations.
  • Ability to perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions while remembering multiple tasks.
  • Good vision, detail oriented and organized; self-motivated and able to meet manufacturing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced mechanical and/or electrical skills.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Five-years of related experience in a manufacturing environment or technical school.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
  • Must pass a background check.
