About The Position

Hughes Technical Services, a division of AP4, is seeking a Hydraulic Mechanic. We are currently seeking a qualified Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team!

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Proven expertise in servo and actuator rebuilding, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical equipment and instruments.
• Strong organizational skills and experience in inventory and work order management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vendors, customers, and other internal stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within a technical or mechanical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical and technical support for shop operations, specializing in servo and actuator rebuilding, instrumentation guidance, and comprehensive equipment troubleshooting.
• Manage inventory and work orders.
• Coordinate effectively with vendors and customers to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Perform rebuilding tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality workmanship and strict adherence to technical specifications.
• Offer technical direction and expertise on instrumentation to support efficient shop operations.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Track, organize, and replenish stock as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Oversee work order workflows to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Engage with vendors and customers to address inquiries and provide project/status updates.
• Provide essential logistics support to facilitate efficient operational processes.
