About The Position

Hughes Technical Services, a division of AP4, is seeking a Hydraulic Mechanic to provide mechanical and technical support for shop operations. The role specializes in servo and actuator rebuilding, instrumentation guidance, and comprehensive equipment troubleshooting. It also includes managing inventory and work orders, coordinating with vendors and customers, and providing logistics support to help ensure timely, high-quality operational outcomes.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Proven expertise in servo and actuator rebuilding and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical equipment and instruments.
• Strong organizational skills and experience in inventory and work order management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a similar role within a technical or mechanical environment.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild servos and actuators with precise, high-quality workmanship and adherence to technical specifications.
• Provide technical direction and expertise on instrumentation to support shop operations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Track, organize, and replenish inventory as needed.
• Oversee work order workflows to support timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Communicate with vendors and customers, respond to inquiries, and provide project or status updates.
• Provide logistics support for efficient operational processes.
