About The Position
The Hybrid Print Operator Specialist uses a digital Hybrid Printer to print on rigid and vinyl materials. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily production list, reviewing client requests to understand the scope and parameters of print jobs, and determining the required quantities. The specialist will also be responsible for matching colors, aligning and configuring machinery, inspecting production samples for quality, and maintaining an inventory of necessary supplies. Additionally, this role involves troubleshooting and performing basic repairs and routine maintenance on the printing machines, as well as maintaining a clean work area. The Hybrid Print Operator Specialist ensures the machine is run efficiently, material utilization is executed, and all OSHA and GPC safety policies and procedures are followed. A key aspect of this role is working effectively as a team player.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year production manufacturing running machinery preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate printing machines and related software.

- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Efficient thinking and procedural skills
- Operate printing machines.
- Bend or kneel frequently.
- Lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
- Stand for 7-8 hours

Responsibilities
- Operates (2) 10ft Hybrid printers using sheets or rolls for print media.
- Oversee daily production list.
- Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs on workorders.
- Determines quantities required for print job.
- Matches colors or hardcopy samples to prints.
- Aligns and configures machinery.
- Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of printings.
- Maintains and communicates inventory of supplies needed to operate printing machines.
- Troubleshoots issues with printing machine and makes basic repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance on printing machines.
- Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Makes sure the machine is being run efficiently.
- Ensuring that material utilization is being executed.
- Follow all OSHA and GPC safety policies and procedures.
