About The Position

SarelaTech is seeking a senior technical contributor to support mission-critical Department of Defense programs in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, or Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role architects, engineers, implements, and sustains secure hybrid cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), combining strategic cloud architecture with hands-on cloud infrastructure, endpoint management, and security engineering in highly secure enterprise environments. The successful candidate will design greenfield cloud environments and secure, scalable, resilient architectures aligned with DoD cybersecurity guidance and Zero Trust principles. The position includes engineering hybrid networking and infrastructure-as-code solutions; administering Microsoft endpoint management, security, and virtual desktop services; and implementing cloud monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and security capabilities. The engineer automates deployments and operations, collaborates with cybersecurity and other engineering teams, supports system accreditation and compliance, evaluates emerging technologies, and may mentor junior engineers or provide technical leadership. An active DoD Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access is required. Compensation is $199,000–$209,000 per year.
