About The Position

We are currently looking for a Hybrid Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Hot Rolling Process Facility (HRPF) Department at our manufacturing facility in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania. Our Electrical Maintenance Technicians are part of a highly skilled team that is critical to ensuring equipment and systems are fully operational for continuous production and to consistently meet production goals. As a Hybrid Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps, cranes, mobile equipment, etc. In order to become successful, you’ll have to quickly learn ATI, our manufacturing equipment/systems, and our maintenance program. A successful Hybrid Electrical Maintenance Technician is a problem-solver and is strong with troubleshooting and determining corrective action, installing, repairing and maintaining a wide variety of electrical and electronic systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least three years of experience performing electrical system and machine maintenance in a manufacturing and industrial environment
  • 2 year associates degree in industrial electricity or related curriculum
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
  • Strong communication skill with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety practices and rules to ensure equipment is operating in a safe manner
  • Perform preventative, predictive and emergency electrical maintenance on a variety of electrical and electronic systems
  • Implement process improvements and methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Use of standard and specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to properly assess and troubleshoot issues
  • Interpret electrical schematics, understanding technical manuals, and following written instructions
  • Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation
  • Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work
  • Operate for trucks, man lifts, cranes, etc.
