The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. The ideal candidate has real-world HVACR experience and a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of skilled technicians. This role will involve developing lesson plans, course materials, and hands-on lab experiences, providing academic support, and evaluating student performance. The position also includes responsibilities related to technical development in niche markets such as VRF, Chillers, Hydronic loop systems, and boiler service, acting as a first line of defense for tech support, and performing field employee mentorship and development. Additionally, the role involves onsite training at customer locations, identifying external and internal training opportunities, and assisting with location on-boarding and preventative maintenance procedures. The instructor will also tackle complex technical problems, conduct callback checkouts, and perform QAIs on maintenance or service work.
