About The Position

Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is growing and we’re hiring an HVAC Trainee to join our North Bay team. We serve customers across the San Francisco Bay Area, with work throughout Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. This is a full time, field based position focused on residential and light commercial HVAC installation and service support. This is a steady, full time role with consistent work year round and opportunities for growth and advancement in the HVAC trade. As an HVAC Trainee at Bellows, you’ll work alongside experienced installers and technicians to learn the HVAC trade through hands on training in the field. You’ll assist with residential and light commercial heating and cooling installations, system replacements, ductwork, maintenance, and service support while building the skills needed for long term career growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is motivated to grow within a strong team environment.

Requirements

  • Interest in learning the HVAC trade and building a long term career
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with tools and equipment
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, physical environment
  • Reliable, organized, and self motivated
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team
  • Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC school or related experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist HVAC installers and technicians on residential and light commercial jobs
  • Help with installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Learn how to read plans and follow job specifications
  • Support troubleshooting and basic service tasks
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards
  • Communicate with team members to keep projects on track
  • Provide professional customer interactions on job sites
